My name is Brian Nebeker. I am a recently retired area commander and operations lieutenant from the Clark County School District Police Department in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was proud to have served as a law enforcement officer for over 23 years with experience in patrol operations and management, criminal and cyber investigations, communications and records management, and personnel training. Additionally, I held the position of Honor Guard commander for the CCSDPD which fueled my personal belief and mission of “always pay it forward”; that belief continues to this day.
Having a little more time at my disposal I am now honing my skills as an amateur carpenter. I enjoy spending more time with my wife of 26 years, Jackie, and our 2 children. Cycling, camping, and ocean cruising are my favorite avenues to decompress from life’s challenges.
Over the years in law enforcement, I have seen and experienced the devastating blows that being a first responder can do to one’s personal, work and family life. I have always preached “family first” knowing our families are our lifeline and first line of support. Being part of F.I.R.S.T. allows me the opportunity to be involved with an organization that believes in protecting and supporting the “first responder” well-being.
